LET'S HELP THEM...

 LET'S HELP THEM...

Gal 6:1-2: "Christian brothers, if a person is found doing some sin, you who are stronger Christians should lead that one back into the right way. Do not be proud as you do it. Watch yourself, because you may be tempted also. Help each other in troubles and problems. This is the kind of law Christ asks us to obey." NLV

She came to church late- skimpily dressed with overdone make up. As she got into the building she tried to quickly find a seat at the back without being noticed, however her stiletto heels gave her away.

Suddenly everyone's head turned back and they gave her "the look". Her inner braces collapsed, she felt a sense of not belonging. Then the preacher who had momentarily stopped to preach thundered, "Brothers and Sisters, God has just impressed to me that i have to address an urgent matter. We are now going to shift focus and speak about the Jezebel spirit. This is a dangerous spirit of pride and prostitution. It gives one the boldness to burge into God's house late and dressed like a prostitute to seduce the holy saints of God. We have to rebuke this spirit!" There was resounding "Amen!" from the congregation. She saw several groups of women whisper to each other and nod their heads while turning back to look at her. They were talking about her!

While she was fully aware that she wanted her lifestyle to change, no one knew how she had barely survived last night when she also committed suicide. She wanted hope. That morning after visiting  a client, she had walked back home feeling "dirty" and disgusted at what she had just done. While absorbed in thoughts of overwhelming guilt and crippling shame she had just passed close to this church building with an open door. Something within her had told her to go into the church to find hope. But those dreams had suddenly become shattered.

If those struggling with sexual sin cannot find hope in our church community- where is the hope? What  is the purpose of our church? Can those battling porn, masturbation and illicit sex addiction think of your church as their place of hope to get healed?

Make it Easy Movement is calling out for the Christian community to create safe environments for those who are struggling with sexual sin. The church has been called to be the repository of God's grace in a fallen world.

To those struggling please reach out to us today to join our whatsapp family of those seeking for healing TOGETHER. (254724591335)
